Dear Diary,

Friday was a lovely day for me. I was invited to the Topshop showroom out here in L.A, and what better way to show my appreciation than to be wearing pieces from the brand? I purchased this top from the Topshop for Opening Ceremony  2012 Olympic collaboration, on my visit to London. The top has a boxy cut, with middle seams that give it a very clean finish. To keep the minimal silhouette going, I wore it with a pair of white wide leg pants that have crease lines pressed into the center of them.

I have sooo been slipping on my Takeover Thursday posts, please forgive me.  Today’s outfit is based on an ombre outerwear, that I chose to pair up with a black on black ensemble, and a pop of color. If you follow me on instagram, then you have probably seen this set on my page, but I of course couldn’t forget about my blog familia!

Faith and I attended the Michael Kors opening event at the Grove. It is the largest location I have been to in L.A, and the set up is very luxurious and homey. I promise to take better photos of the location on my next visit.

My cousin Natasha arranged for a long layover in L.A to spend the day with my sister and I. Natasha is a food lover like me, so I can’t say I was surprised she picked a mouth watering location to have brunch.

My friend Faith and I hardly go anywhere. Picture two old ladies sitting on their porch in rocking chairs, peacefully knitting lol. We have decided to turn over a new leaf, starting with dinner.

Dear Diary,

 In my last post, I mentioned attending a wedding in Paris. The bride looked flawless! Her vintage glam dress with the mermaid silhouette were to die for. And who could forget the cathedral veil? The attention to detail in the decor was simply impeccable. Loadz of food, champagne, and amazing people from different parts of the globe!

The bride being walked down the aisle by her brothers. It was the cutest thing!

Dear Diary,

 I was on a mission to find a bright colored pant suit for a wedding in Paris. I searched high and low, and decided to make h&m my final stop. What did I  find when I walked into the store? An insane brocade suit with metallic shimmer…SWOON. It was way better than the spring/summer bright I was yearning for. Of all the places I would get lucky, who would have thought it would be h&m? Elizabeth and James has a brocade peplum and pant set in their fall RTW for $800. Mine totaled $100. Quite a steal, if you ask me.
