7 DAYS OF THB: DAY 5(BIKER CAJ)
Dear Diary,
Hats, and sweatshirt dresses in my world translate to “my hair isn’t done, and I can’t be bothered”. With the right kind of hat, like this wide brim fedora, and other funky accessories, like my motorcycle jacket in red plaid , and Laurence Dacade boots, you will have a casual look with attitude in no time.
7 DAYS OF THB: DAY 4( HUES OF BLUE)
7 DAYS OF THB: DAY 3(FLOWER BOMB)
Dear Diary,
With spring beckoning in Los Angeles, it was only justified that I showed a little skin with a mini overlapped skirt and a white midriff top. Balance is very important to me. That explains the boxy floral jacket I completed the look with right? The floral print plays a distracting role in my outfit, which is perfect, because too much skin can be tacky rather than cool/sexy.
7 Days Of THB: Day 2(Quirky Chic)
7 Days Of THB: Day 1(The Avant Garde)
Dear Diary,
What does THB stand for? Thigh High Boots, a term coined by yours truly. Having legs with the length from my waist to infinity, that are also thin, it’s very difficult for me to find thigh high boots, that actually stay on. But then… I came across these Laurence Dacade boots which had my name written all over it! Not to forget that they are open toe, and stretch linen which makes it perfect for spring/summer. I must say, the French shoe designer certainly knows the way to my heart. I have been eager to wear them every single day, ever since I made the purchase. Which is why I decided to do a “7 Days” challenge in honor of my my new babies.
Now to my look. It may come across as a little black dress, but don’t be fooled, they are actually 3 separate pieces merged into one awesome outfit! Thanks to The Dreslyn sample sale, I didn’t have to break the bank for this amazing sleeveless cargo top, and cascade mini skirt. I was in the mood for something dark, edgy, and hardcore so I layered my look with a long sleeve crop top and a pair of sunglasses that look like they were borrowed from the character Morpeus from The Matrix movie. Did I nail it?
That 70s Show
Dear Diary,
I’m dedicating this outfit to one of my favorite television sitcoms growing up: That 70s Show. I still remember the lyrics from the theme song, haha. I am such a lover of flare pants, especially this pair from urban outfitters. I have had it for over three years. Not only is it comfortable, and fits perfectly, but it has not stretched out even once! I paired them with a green plaid shirt, and rather than going the platform heel route, I opted for my trusty Chuck Taylor sneakers. Casual and groovy!
Black On Black
Dear Diary,
If all else fails, pull out your black on black number. Despite all my colorful posts on the site, I tend to wear black every now and then. Who doesn’t look good in black? It is one of the easiest combinations to pull off. Go try it.
Louis Vuitton Series 2 Exhibition In Los Angeles
Dear Diary,
If you are in the Los Angeles area, you do not want to miss the “Louis Vuitton Series 2”. It’s an exhibit with 8 rooms, showcasing the Fashion house’s past, present, and future. It’s always great when an iconic brand is able to create an opportunity for the masses to enjoy, and explore their work. If you are unable to make it to the venue, not to worry. Sit back, and live vicariously through my images.

Nike! Not just for sportswear
Dear Diary,
Can I tell you a secret? My outfits are rarely planned. This look came together in less than 2 minutes, and I am not exaggerating. How I do it? Try not to take yourself too seriously, and the rest comes naturally. The brush stroke stripe shirt is a hand me down from Ghana. Courtesy of my male cousin. The bottoms are also my female cousin’s old track shorts. Would you believe me if I told you they were going to discard these pieces? Plus, who said you cannot incorporate a sportswear piece into your everyday wardrobe? Madness!
