Thursday morning was an awesome one. I had the chance to interact with fashion lovers and meet Fashion Designer Anine Bing. She represents everything casual-chic in my opinion. It was a lovely event, and I am excited to see who the next spotlight creative is going to be at the next breakfast.

Dear Diary,
My five year old wide leg denim from Gap shrunk in length somehow, and I refuse to discard or give them away. They fit my body to the T. I DIY’d them into cut offs. Perfect piece for the heat wave that is refusing to go away, grrrr!
Dear Diary,
I am such a sucker for food, and that is why I was more than psyched when my friend Faith suggested we have brunch at this restaurant called Petrossian on Roberstson Blvd. An European influenced restaurant, with an American twist. My meal was excellent, but let me tell you…Their truffle fries? Finger lickin’ good!
The heat was unbearable over the weekend. I cooled off with a basic crop top and a tulle pleated skirt. Always stay away from dark colors on days like this. You might get melt like the Wicked Witch of the East.

Guess who made it to the finish line? This was such a fun challenge for me, and I hope it was just as exciting for you. I can’t wait till I have to do it all over again. My final look is a combination of edge and vibrance. I love mixing themes. It adds character to my wardrobe.

Dear Diary,
I know, I know, I changed my hair again. I get bored easily, plus I missed my fro. Back to our regularly scheduled programming. I have reached the sixth day of my challenge, can you believe it?? One more day to go. Woop woop! A flowy and comfy asymmetric number to battle the heat. The minimal cut and nude tone of the dress allowed me to play with accessories, and the best part about this dress is the amazing T-strap in the back. It gives it the right amount of sexiness.

It’s Monday, and you’re either having a hard time transitioning from partying too hard, lazying around or being a couch potato to getting ready for your 9 to 5. To those with the beginning of the week blues, this one is for you.
Cure your Monday blues with a basic long sleeve shirt paired with an over-the-knee pencil skirt for a subtle look. Doctor’s orders.

I have been itching to try my hand at the “all white pant suit”. I paired my best-fitted white separates together, and voila! It’s still summer here, and for a more casual effect, I wore my nude ribbed tank underneath the blazer. There is something very fresh and outspoken about a white pant suit. I have Bianca Jagger to thank for bringing this look to life.
Dear Diary,
If I were to be a member of a gym, this is how I would dress with my sneakers, and put on my heels and hat for a night out with my buddies. Of course I would have many variations of this look, so that I wouldn’t have to wear my sweaty clothes in public. The sporty look has also been an on-going trend on the fashion runways for the past couple of years, but who can blame designers for hopping on the bandwagon? Active wear is comfortable, the easiest thing to slip in and out of.
