Raymundo Came To Visit

Dear Diary,

Meet my buddy Raymond. He came to all the way from Boston to enjoy some Califor-ni-a  sun.

I love when my friends come from out of town to visit. It’s a great way for me to let my hair down…And an excuse to take the day off from work of course, haha!

Weekly Obsession- The Lucite

Dear Diary,

My weekly obsession? Lucite clutches. Chanel does no wrong when it comes to their accessories. I was so in love when I set my eyes on this PVC clutch that could damn near pay my rent for 4 months! In case you are wondering what the exact price is… $6,595.
I did a little research and discovered some options were reasonably tagged.

                                                     Go Jane $44

                                                            Kotur Ltd $395

                                       Go Jane $52

                                                        ShopAnthom $120

Seeing Blue

Dear Diary,

One of the gifts my sister got me for my birthday was this badass faux leather skater skirt from the new savvy department at Nordstrom.  I was itching to create a post, as soon as I opened the parcel.  You would be obsessing too if your favorite color is blue. I mean come on, look at it… it’s gorgeous!!!!

 Look 1
I went for a minimal approach with my t-strap mid heel pumps, and a silver cuff. Something you can wear out to a nice lunch , without having to look too casual.

PRADA blouse, NORDSTROM skirt, ZARA pumps, CUFF (from a street vendor in Ghana).

 Look 2
My approach to a night time look? Pull out all the statement jewelry. Wrist candy, rings with shimmer, and a bib necklace. to give your outfit more character .

T.G.I.F.

Dear Diary,

I can’t get enough of this Rita Ora song, especially in the “2 Bears Remix”.  It’s a great way to let your hair down, and prepare for any festivities you may have lined up for the weekend!

PRABAL GURUNG TUNIC

Dear Diary,

My Prabal Gurung for Target pieces have been  dying to be worn ever since I purchased them five months ago.  I can’t believe they have been sitting in my closet for this long.  Today’s post is on one of my faves  from the collection… the tunic. I love how easy breezy it is, with the multi-color splash.  It allows me to experiment with colored shoes of my choice.

URBAN OUTFITTERS  denim/leather jacket, PRABAL GURUNG for TARGET tunic dress, ZARA platform heels, and I bought the doggy brooch at a flea market in London.

BIRTHDAY FIT

Dear Diary,

My birthday was last month, and the highlight of my day was putting on this panelled dress with the mesh cut back by Antipodium . I fell in love with it, as soon as I laid eyes on it. The price was a little out of my range at the time. Two days before my birthday, this baby went on SALE…and I’m talking double markdown! Dreams do come true.

ANTIPODIUM pixel dress, BOUTIQUE 9 Orra pumps, LOVE CULTURE earrings (similar here), SEPHORA rouge lipstick.
