Clover Canyon had a sample sale a month ago that I was dying to attend. Unfortunately I was unable to go because of my 9 to 5, but my awesome babe Faith surprised me with this gorgeous floral print short sleeve from the sale. Don’t I have awesome friends? I am a huge lover of prints, but what I truly adore about this shirt is how versatile it can be. In my case, I went for a outfit.

MIISTA x DENIM CUT OFFS
Dear Diary,
I was so excited to receive my Miista Blaires in soft blue in the mail two months ago. They are so comfortable and fun! I finally got the perfect look to go with these sandals. Breezy silhouettes in hues of blues, with a dash of fuchsia on a hot summer day? Yes please!
FASHION FOR BREAKFAST: KDIA JEWELRY
Dear Diary,
Fashion for Breakfast is back, and this time’s guest of honor was none other than the beautiful and talented lady behind KDIA Jewelry, Kristen Noel Crawley. It was very inspiring listening to her speak about coming from a small town in Chicago to having her own brand of fine jewelry. She also mentioned how she wanted to make pieces that would stay with you forever. I had the liberty of meeting with Kristen after the breakfast, and she is such a ball of energy and simply the sweetest! Can we just talk about how amazing she looks with that baby bump? Jeez!! To learn more about or if you are interested in shopping her pieces. Click here for further details.
Now to my look…
DENIM ON THE BEACH
Dear Diary,
‘Tis the weekend! I’ve been really into overalls . It’s one of the best casual pieces a girl can have for the summer. I wore the dress version to Venice with an off -shoulder top. You don’t always have to wear a cover up, or daisy dukes as your beach wardrobe. There are ways of showing skin at the beach without being overly sexy. Give this fun look a shot!
BORLA TEE
SIMPLICITY MEETS RED
Dear Diary,
Another one from the Big Apple. Spent the afternoon running errands, and I also had an amazing lunch with my sisters at Burger & Lobster .
EMPIRE STATE OF MIND
Dear Diary,
Take me back to New York. Whether you are rushing to an audition, heading to a 9-5 to make ends meet, or simply just visiting , you will forever be inspired by the city’s hustle and bustle.
Casual Get-Up
Dear Diary,
We had a nice one in the Los Angeles area yesterday. The weather was sunny with a breeze, which made it easy for me to throw on this v neck sweater. My job consumes my life throughout the week, and that is why I use my free time to catch up on all errands. Comfort is very important to me when I am on-the-go, so I paired my sweater with a high waist denim pant and loafers. I know, I know, they are the same pants from my last post. I couldn’t help it, they are easy to run around in. To add some character, I went with a mint clutch and oversize clear frames. Let’s not forget the red lip for drama.
Wedding Pastels
Dear Diary,
My cousin got married last weekend in Las Vegas, and it was the perfect excuse for me to take a mini vacay. I initially wanted to wear a pretty-girly dress for the ceremony, since I don’t wear those often. On my shopping mission, I realized, “who am I kidding? Dresses are so typical”. I went for a pantsuit look instead and it felt grrrreat *Tony the Tiger’s voice*
