Dear Diary,
Another one from the minimal books. I have always wanted to try a monochromatic outfit in the same hue as my skin tone. I guess you can call this my own version of nude (and no, I don’t mean being naked). Boxy and a loose-fit shape is how I chose to wear this mainly because it was comfortable, but I also always remember to sprinkle a little personality dust onto my look like with this asymmetric hemline of my slip dress, metallic sunglasses, and these amazing cork print vans. Comfort does NOT have to be boring.

I am a lover of all things cropped. Which is why I couldn’t get enough of this voluminous top from Fashion Bunker. I purchased this top as a co-ord set (here) for my birthday, and the great thing about co-ords is you don’t just have to wear them as a set all the time. You also have the option of mixing and matching each piece with other articles of clothing.
Clover Canyon had a sample sale a month ago that I was dying to attend. Unfortunately I was unable to go because of my 9 to 5, but my awesome babe Faith surprised me with this gorgeous floral print short sleeve from the sale. Don’t I have awesome friends? I am a huge lover of prints, but what I truly adore about this shirt is how versatile it can be. In my case, I went for a outfit.

I was so excited to receive my Miista Blaires in soft blue in the mail two months ago. They are so comfortable and fun! I finally got the perfect look to go with these sandals. Breezy silhouettes in hues of blues, with a dash of fuchsia on a hot summer day? Yes please!

It was very inspiring listening to her speak about coming from a small town in Chicago to having her own brand of fine jewelry. ‘Tis the weekend! I’ve been really into overalls . It’s one of the best casual pieces a girl can have for the summer. I wore the dress version to Venice with an off -shoulder top. You don’t always have to wear a cover up, or daisy dukes as your beach wardrobe. There are ways of showing skin at the beach without being overly sexy. Give this fun look a shot!
