WHITE OVERALLS

Dear Diary,

I have been on a white overall hunt for quite some time, and thanks to the American Apparel factory, I found the perfect one for 20 bucks. It is the place to shop if you are woman on a budget. The zipper pocket detail placed on top of the bib gives it an edge. I love pockets! If I had my way, they would be placed on every article of clothing. I paired the overalls with a black knit collared shirt, gold earrings, and metallic loaffers. This is the perfect look to wear for brunch or a kickback in the summer.  What would you mix and match with this piece?

RED BOMBER JACKET

Dear Diary,

Bombers are usually styled as your casual outerwear. In my world, a bomber can be worn in many different ways at any occasion.  I purchased this red nylon piece at an American Apparel sale. You would have snagged it too , if you only had to pay $6. Another thing that immediately  drew me to it was that striking shade of red… Valentino red.  Rarely would you find a bomber jacket with snaps in this hue. A white button up for the back-to-schoolers, black pleated mini skirt and thigh high boots for your night out on the town with your girls. I might just create a post showing how else you can incorporate this piece into your everyday lifestyle. Stay tuned…

Casual Get-Up

Dear Diary,

We had a nice one in the Los Angeles area yesterday. The weather was sunny with a breeze, which made it easy for me to throw on this v neck sweater. My job consumes my life throughout the week, and that is why I use my free time to catch up on all errands. Comfort is very important to me when I am on-the-go, so I paired my sweater with a high waist denim pant and loafers. I know, I know, they are the same pants from my last post. I couldn’t help it, they are easy to run around in. To add some character, I went with a mint clutch and oversize clear frames. Let’s not forget the red lip for drama.
