Adore Me Lingerie Review

Dear Diary,
When it comes to lingerie, most girls would certainly agree with me when I say that your inside garments matter just as much as what is showcased on the outside. And that is why I was thrilled when I received a free lingerie set from…

What is it?

Adore me is a new subscription based eCommerce website that allows women to personalize their lingerie picked by professional stylists each month.

How it works
You take a 9 question quiz that give the stylists an idea of what your personality type may be in order for you to have access to the best lingerie of your choice in your very own showroom, and it only takes 1 minute!

An email is sent informing you  that your showroom is ready and you can finally choose from the
selection the stylist hand-picked for you.

I chose…
The MELANIE. It’s a plunging pushup with lace detailing on the cups, with the matching mid-rise undies. Not to mention it’s mint, which happens to be one of the hottest color trends for the summer!

It’s extremely aggravating to receive a product in the mail only for it to look completely different from the image you saw online, but the Melanie lingerie set looked exactly like it did on the site and this made me adore it(no pun intended lol) even more.
My thoughts…
I’m not one to falsely advertise anything I don’t believe or haven’t tested out. The inside lining of the bra cups are very soft, and I didn’t feel any form of discomfort or pain with the boning either. Adore me caters to various body types, there is something for everyone. All of the lingerie sets are $39.95, shipping and exchanges are free of charge! Which is an amazing deal because you are receiving the same kind of treatment that may occur when consulting a sales employee in a lingerie store, except you communicate  with a certified lingerie expert in the comfort of your own home.
I strongly recommend you checkout their website  www.adoreme.com. You can also like their facebook page, to keep you updated on any giveaways or deals.

                                                        Happy Wednesday peeps!

                                                                    xoxo!!

Pleat Loving

Dear Diary,

I’m sure you were all fed up with me putting clothing sets together… trust me, I got tired of looking at them too LOL. I was swamped with tons of work and didn’t have the chance to blog about my own outfits, but I’m backkkkk!
Anywho, today’s posting is on pleats. Pleats are one of the hottest repetitive trends seen on the runway . They have been showcased in almost every designer’s resort, spring and even fall collections. But nothing was able to have me as swooned as this glossy leather accordion from Gucci’s 2012 resort collection.

I found a budget friendly version of the Gucci skirt last year at h&m. This baby has just been sitting in my closet, begging to be worn,so I finally decided to take it out for a spin.

                              I paired the skirt with a Versace for H&M Men’s jersey t-shirt.

To make it less rockerish,I layered  the tee with a sleeveless bubblegum pink collared shirt.

Versace for H&M t-shirt, Melrose Chiffon shirt, Vintage belt, H&M bag, Zara pumps.

                                                         Happy Saturday peeps!

                                                                       xoxo

Wishing Coachella

Dear Diary,

It’s here again...COACHELLA!!  For those of you not aware of the madness, coachella is a three-day music and arts festival that happens every year in Indio,California. I still can’t get a friggin ticket because they are always sold out months in advance, and this leaves me stuck with a live stream of the show every year *sighs* it’s that good. However, my gloomy mood is not going to stop me from sharing my “what could have been” outfits with you guys.

Early morning at the Gap

Dear Diary,

As some of you may remember, I did a  post on a Who What Wear event that took place at the Gap a few months back. Attendees were told to come dressed in colorful attire, and the best outfits received a $500 Gap gift card. You can say I was one of the lucky winners of this competition, but I certainly could not have done it without all the amazing people that voted for me, thank you guys! :D.
Here are some iPhone flicks of my purchases.

I was getting a little carried away while grabbing the clothes, but I mean come on, everyone knows it’s always a great feeling when you don’t have to come out your own pockets. Am I right or am I right?

I am in love with these tie dye skinnies! I can’t wait to wear them this summer..

So I spent two and a half hours trying on clothes, and my sister, who was also my photographer that morning had to rush me out of the store. Explains why my shirt is half way buttoned lol. Hope you guys saw pieces that you may like to add to your closet for the summer.

xoxo!!

Good Better Proper

Dear Diary,

I got together with these eye candies and blogger/photographerAllen Coleman in Accra, Ghana for a photo session  to showcase our Los Angeles  based street wear by Good Better Proper . The brand, was founded in 2011. It exudes a young and fresh appeal that I adore, not to mention the impeccable ink quality of the characters, and soft texture of the tees. I mean you have to see it to understand, it’s pretty awesome!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

                                                                   xoxo!!

For my Fellas

Dear Diary,

I paid my sister a visit at her job, only to see a man exiting in a pair of soft black oxfords with a leather sole, and matching brown laces.

Now..there was no way I was going to let him leave without knowing the maker of these babies.
His response?Dragan Mrdja
Dragan is a custom shoe designer with an architectural background. His craftsmanship and fabrication is to die for. Too bad he doesn’t make shoes for ladies -_-.

xoxo!!

Day 3: In Ghana (Tunic + Top-Sider)

Dear Diary,

I was excited to be around for my little cousin’s 11th birthday celebration! You can tell from her smile that I was an awesome chaperone ^_^.

I had on a casual tunic mini dress with a scooped neck. It was very soft and stretchy, which made it extremely comfortable and perfect for the weather.

The glistening effect of the snake print made the shoes look super funky.

It’s always beautiful when clothes have unexpected details, like these knots in the back  of my dress.

H&M dress and belt, Sperry Top- Sider shoes, ASOS clutch, F21 rings.
