Dear Diary,
This number has been sitting in my closet since January. I purchased the african print fabric on my vacation in Ghana , and brought my baby doll design to life. The two-tier and poof on the bottom of the dress is not something that I would typically wear, but it’s always great to step out of your comfort zone and try out new styles.

A couple of us headed to Cuvee for brunch, in celebration of my sister’s birthday.
It was our 1st time trying out their food, and let me just tell you.. everything was amazeballs! Definitely need to write a yelp review for that spot.

My friend Nick and his boys were DJing Downtown L.A. at the La Nuit event. They killed it on the turntables!! It was disco dance night, and my feet were on FIRE by the time I got home, eek! >_<

So about my hair…what the heck is going on here? I haven’t run a comb through it in ages! I finally decided to make use of one, and realized it literally grew 3 inches overnight, out of control right? :-O… but hey, I do love my new found fro, all I need is to come up with some cool ways to style it *pats hair*

It is extremely difficult to find a tuxedo-like jacket that is cropped, let alone turquoise! I was super ecstatic to get this birthday gift from my fam Naa and Mos Prominent,considering I had the perfect outfit to go with my new summer essential. Thanks guys!! 😀

For my night time outfit, I went for a body con midi dress. Courtesy of my lovely sister :D. The geometric print, and cut away shoulders gave the dress a daytime feel. My dark red lipstick, dark eye make up, and ankle strap heels give it more of a night time approach. The right accessories and make up can switch up an entire look!

I spent the weekend before my birthday in viva las vegas! The weather was taking no prisoners. It was over 90 degrees, and there was no way I was wearing anything other than a mini number in that heat lol.
